Pink Elephant Car Wash is great, right by 7th & Denny for Seattle. A decent DIY place is right on the corner of NE 125th and 15th Ave. in Lake City, just up the hill on 125th from Lake City Way.

For the Eastside, I think I've only used the White Swan Car Wash across from the Kirkland Parkplace Mall at the Chevron. I like this place and got decent treatment and a good car wash. Aside from that, I've just used the DIY places and I don't really have a preference too much unless one was missing brushes or bad water pressure or something.

Try Elephant Car Wash. They have 9 locations in the area.

Perhaps you've seen the big pink elephant at Aurora and Denny?

    It's a Seattle landmark!

I find Brown Bear to be the best. They do a good prewash by hand, have many cleaning options, will give you a towel dry, and they also do detailing! If it matters for you, they are also environmentally friendly, filtering and recycling thier water. For locations and more info, go to
