As men get older, why do we lose our hair on our heads only to have it grow on our ears and in our noses.?

Update:

I don't have a problem with hair any where else on my body (back, chest, legs, arms, A**, or face --even eyebrow {singular not plural})

Not every guy loses hair on their heads as they grow older. It does not run in my family at all. As for growing hair in the ears and noses, I'm not so sure about that but on the bright side they make grooming tools to deal with it.

Aging sucks and some people inherited the furrier genes :(

Another know crappy fact of aging is that your ears and nose continue growing forever (even after you die...)

However, you can reduce hair in certain area by waxing when you're younger, so the hair grows back much less quickly, and thinner. Try waxing your neck, ears, chest or even your back. Another trick is to dye your grey hair black (if you have black hair). Also, if you are greying or balding. Keep your hair short.

Sadly, I have hair on my butt, which I choose not to remove. Keeps me warn in the winter!

Source(s): My pessimistic hairy dad, and grandma (aesthetician) who waxes my neck before I go for a haircut.

Funny question! All part of the ageing process in which women develop hair on their face. Those dreaded hormones keep changing their balance all through life. Why is it your nose never stops growing? Now there's a good question!

Every human deals with a lot of stress. Stress can be bad for you and cause many things to go wrong. Are you having way too much stress in your life? Stress can cause you to age fast, lose hair, and much more. My brother looks way older than me even though he's sixteen. He has a few bald spots taking place already because he's in so much stress. I however am fine. I seriously get compliments saying you look like a kid. Are you under stress?

It's so there is a constant reminder to us that we DON'T look handsome to 20 year olds, we look like their grampa. That look they give you while you're trying not to pass out while holding in your 40" gut is one of sympathy, not affection. Kinda like they give a puppy with it's head stuck in a jar.

So women will have something else to complain about because you're not the perfect guy she wanted.

Source(s): Married twice and have had numerous women comment on my nose hairs.
