Is it really Norv Turners Fault?

Last year the Charger were a force to be reckon with. But so far this year they look horrible all the way around, and we all know that they have talent. So what's the problem? I personally think its Norv Turner. I don't feel he posseses the defensive insight to make this team any good. He maybe one of the greatest offensive coordinators around, as Troy Aikman credits him as the reason he was as good as he was, but I don't think Norv has what it takes to make the next step and become a Head Coach blending both offense and defense together! Anyone agree?

Norv will never be more than a great QB coach and an above average Offensive coordinator. As a head coach, he has never had any real success. So, yeah, I agree with you. Nice question.

I give you a star on that one.

in case you observed some Charger soccer, Norv Turner has made some ridiculous play calls that have given up approximately 5 video games interior the final 22 seconds Rivers has carried the gang this season, the place's L.T been? He cant even run extra advantageous than 2 yards this season its Rivers who's been attempting ot keep the gang going.... Watch Rivers grasp the branch from you ponies and we are going to see crying toddler Cutler asking the ref to tug out yet another win for you men circulate BOLTS!

Remember Kevin Gilbride? Folks used to say he was an "offensive genius" too, and look what he did for our Chargers.

Well, our O-line just didn't get it done tonight. LT is now averaging a pathetic 1.9 yds/carry. Horrific. Cheating or not, the Pats are probably the best team in the NFL.

But I'm not giving up on the Chargers. They just beat last year's Superbowl contenders a week ago.

Ask any Raider fan or Redskin fan. The hiring of norv turner did not strike any fear in their heart. Add to it 5 more coaches on Offense and defense, and you got a dismal start to the season.

They have faced two of the toughest defenses in the NFL, that's all. They never said they were going to be undefeated. I'm not a giant fan of the Chargers, but they are a good team, and I expect them to make a run at the AFC play-offs again this year.

Schottenheimer has been a successful head coach everywhere he's been, he's turned our franchise around, and we were the top team in the league in 2006... but he got picked off in the playoffs, so i think the thing to do is fire him and replace him with a guy who never had any success anywhere as a head coach, that will get us over the top and into the superbowl :) yeah, that's what we'll do!

Look at the Raiders! Norv turned a superbowl team to one of the weakest team in the whole NFL!!

Well, Turner has never been a very good head coach, but it is also terrible management (AJ, etc) that has alway hurt this team, and was key in firing Marty. Personally, I don't see SD even winning their division this year because of bad coaching and management.....

they were going up against the better team, marty wouldnt have won that game anyway, the pats are too good, theyre stacked. the chargers will be fine, they will win the division and make the playoffs. dont worry the chargers will be fine, i mean they did beat the bears last week so dont worry.

I don't think the Pats cheated today. In the AFC, I think they really are the #2 team. I'm not sure Bolts are even #3.
