boom you gotta her straight on, sime firepower but way more accurate, there is other more accurate .50 cal bolt action rifles in existance right now but bolt actions have many disadvantages, this new semi auto allows quick fire and adjust shooting, but there is one way more accurate, the .408 is more accurate, longer range but not semi auto yet, have a nice day!

Look into the Civilian Marksmanship Program. If you're an NRA member (and you should be!), join your local gun club. The other members LOVE to teach new shooters their art. Shooting high powered, center-fire rifles is NOT for the beginner. It WILL result in high ammo bills at BEST. At worst, it will result in a horribly expensive rifle that you have absolutely no use for. I am an experienced shooter, and I still think I'm a beginner compared to a few of my friends. I know a guy who shoots plastic bottle caps at 1000 yards. That is impressive. If you want a good, all around center-fire that won't put you in the poor house, look into a Mosin Nagant. The rounds (7.62x54R) are fairly cheap. This was the rifle used bu Soviet forces in WWII. They go for anywhere from $125 for a basic service rifle to $700 for a top-notch sniper's weapon. If you watch "Enemy in the Gate", Sasha was using this weapon. Remember, the rifle doesn't make the shooter, it's the other way around.

It may outshoot the 82, but I see some problems with it; for a weapon that is supposed to provide rapid fire, the five round magazine is too small, the 82's ten round is much better. I see that the rifle has a "recoil reducing pad" but no mention is made of any effective recoil lessening equipment such as the Barrett's stock with spring design.

I personally prefer a bolt-action rifle for long-range due to the better tolerances of the action as well as the ability to better control speed. Most semi-automatics lack a little accuracy when compared to bolt actions (speed of a second shot doesn't count, it shouldn't be needed). A bolt action also provides certain other benefits such as a better ability to control ammunition temperature as well as the ability to conserve ammo in the magazine for an emergency while handloading one round at a time (effectively a magazine disconnect).

Awesome piece of weaponry; accurate as heck and capable of firing real fast and still be accurate. Wish I had the money for it.
