Should Anheuser-Busch move their Busch series sponsorship to the IRL?

Or maybe Champcar? I think either series could benefit greatly and also give Busch a whole new fan base to market to.

Busch is one of the older major sponsors of the nascar busch series. I think they should stay there, but becoming a major sponsor of the IRL or any other racing series would only bring them more exposure. I guess they just don't think it is worth the money for it. Sponsors like Anheuser Busch won't invest into anything that wouldn't be a sure fire way to make money for them. The racing series would already have to be in some sort of spotlight before Busch would think about sponsoring it.

Most of the diehard IRL fans are from Europe or Canada, that is why the Canadian beer companys and European Companies have a strong hold on the sponsorship.

If Tony George wants them, it would be a great move for both parties. Anheuser-Busch could sponsor a top racing series for about what they were paying for the NASCAR Grand National Series. The IndyCar Series could raise the purses and potentially add more races. It would be a win-win situation for both.

What for? Those series have horrible TV ratings and attendance. The Busch crowds are something that IRL and Cart could only dream of. Its too bad NASCAR wants so much money.

Why? I'd be willing to bet more people in the U. S. watch Busch, and Nextel for that matter, races than watch IRL races. Why do you think all of these open wheel racers are making the jump to stock car racing? On average there is more money to be had there than anywhere else for racecar drivers right now and stock car racing is much more popular in the states and I promise you nobody in Europe is drinking Busch beer.

I SEE IRL FANS OR CHAMP FANS DRINKING IMPORTED BEER OR EXPENSIVE WINE WITH CHEESE AND CRACKERS ,MAYBE A LITTLE CAVIAR. LEAVE THE BUSCH SPONSOR TO THE WORKING MANS DIVISION.

Source(s): HEY DOUBLE DEE CHECK AND SEE WHAT IRL AND CHAMP RACERS GET FOR THAT MATTER LOOK AT FORMULA ONE.

For name recognition alone they shouldn't change. They are synonymous with NASCAR'S second division.
