Hate to pile on the whole Spears dementia story, but I think those kids don't have a snowball's chance at any kind of normal life.

If he's as good as Tony Stewart, he should have a good shot at the win, right? Looking through the entry list for the race coming up in January shows only two drivers officially from NC. That seems odd to me also.

I remember seeing an ASA race on tv a bunch of years ago at a race track that had 5 turns or something unusual like that. I think the track was in Ohio if I remember right. Does anyone have an idea which track I'm thinking of and where it is?

Now think about doing that same trip in a 4 horsepower covered wagon with no suspension. Those early settlers were nuts!

With 3 of the top 5 drivers in Nascar on the Hendrick payroll Rick Hendrick stand to make a killing just off of the souvenier trucks next year. Heck, he's probably already made a ton this year.

With all the driver complaints about not seeing out the rear window, do you think it would be smart for Nascar to use Superbird style rear wings that are about level with the roof at Talladega and Daytona? I think it would be cool to see and safer for the drivers.

Or are greed and complacency the main ingredient for their apparent self destruction? Seems like the UAW is constantly striking or threatening to for more money. At a time when competition is fierce and the job market is not all that great, is it wise to ask for more money?

Or maybe Champcar? I think either series could benefit greatly and also give Busch a whole new fan base to market to.

I have nothing against Bowyer or RCR,but it's always odd when a team that hasn't done much all year shows up and just crushes the field like that. Don't give me that line about it being impossible. The FIA couldn't police traction control, so why would Nascar be able to?

Why aren't more people against this idea? It's ridiculous to have the driver with the points lead bumped to 2nd by the guy who was 6th, yes 6th, in the points. No, I am not a Gordon fan, either.

The more I think about this, the more I would have enjoyed the option. Think about, you could graduate by the time you were 16, or maybe even earlier. It's kind of stupid to spend all that money building schools and they sit empty for months at a time. Vacation time could be flexible, maybe getting a week off every month or something. All kinds of possibilities.

The Labontes, Waltrips, Allisons, Bodines and others. There's been a bunch of brothers in the Cup series throughout the years, but I cannot remember any of them ever being on the same team together.

I'm all for just cutting through the B.S. and making the pre-season games count and making the NFL season a few weeks longer. It seems pointless to play the same game but the result doesn't matter. It matters big time if someone gets hurt though. One week of games that amount to a free pass and then on with the normal season. Half the players aren't even trying that hard, and most of the time it's 2nd or 3rd stringers anyway. Make all the games count.

Not that long ago was it? Just shows how easy it is to fall behind in Cup racing. Where's Greg Biffle been hiding all year? Man, I thought he'd show up to race at least a few times in '07. At least Edwards and Kenseth are still running well.

Whatever happened to that time hopping bad boy of the video game world? Babes need to be saved and there's aliens that need their azs kicked.
