The "jena six" are nothing more than two bit thugs...?

"Not only is there almost no media coverage of the Black violent hate crimes against Whites, but in high profile cases when Blacks are prosecuted for heinous crimes against innocent Whites, the White victims are ignored and the Black criminals are turned into “real victims” by the media.

Nothing more clearly illustrates this point than what has occurred over the past year in Jena, Louisiana and the orgy of hatred that Jena has suffered. today, September 20, the town has been invaded by thousands of thugs like Al Sharpton who seek to make violent Black hate criminals such as Michael Bell and the rest of the so-called “Jena Six” into heroes. Even worse the entire White population of the town is facing a media lynching by being labeled racists who are unjustly persecuting Black young men.

Michael Bell, who has been convicted of four previous violent crimes, (a fact scarcely revealed by the media), led a group of six Black students to attack and unmercifully beat a White Student at Jena High School in what can only be described as a vicious hate crime. Motivated by racial hatred, the six Blacks attacked one lone White student, Justin Barker. They stomped and kicked him to unconsciousness and continued to kick him and stomp him as he lay helpless. The attack could have easily have taken his life if others had not intervened. Only by the grace of God did he survive.

To show the insane bias of this whole case, just imagine if the facts were reversed.

If a gang of six Whites motivated by racial hatred and led by a White with four previous violent-crime convictions had attacked a lone Black student, kicking and stomping him into unconsciousness, would there any concern that the leader and the other White gang members could be charged with aggravated assault? Would not there be national demands to charge the White attackers with the most serious of federal civil rights violations and hate crimes? White leaders from all over the country, even the leaders of the local town of Jena, would not be defending the White attackers, they would be condemning the attacks and calling for the harshest of punishments allowed by the law.

As far as the Media are concerned, oh yes the supposedly unbiased media, they would be interviewing the Black victim on every TV talk show across the land, discussing his fear, his pain, his suffering. They would be interviewing his crying relatives and friends. They would not be voicing any fear that the White attackers would be treated too harshly. No, they would be demanding the harshest of penalties.

Federal officials from the President on down would be calling for additional serious charges of federal civil rights violations. But you see, in the America of 2007 Whites are no longer deemed to have any “civil rights.”

When a lone White kid is beaten savagely by a gang of six hate criminals, the media is only concerned about how the Black attackers are being treated too harshly. And if you are waiting for civil rights charges to be filed against the Black attackers who violated the civil rights of the boy they almost beat to death, don’t hold your breath.

The entire Jena scenario and the coverage of it by the media show once again that it is not the people of Jena who are racists. By demanding justice in this case, they have shown rightly that they believe in fairness to all and that White people are now the real victims of racism in America. Once again it is shown that we must have advocates for our rights and heritage just as any other group is permitted to do so.

May the District Attorney and the people of Jena stay strong and never give in to those who seek take away their rights of life and liberty as guaranteed by the United States Constitution."

Everyone seems to be jumping on the band wagon that justice is not equal. Well it has nothing to do with the color of anyone's skin its just the fact that justice isnt equal. Why does a man get a steeper sentence than a woman? Why does one man murder someone and get life and someone else murders someone and gets 30 years? I don't necesarily agree with what they were charged with but I wish everyone would quit trying to make it a race issue. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are just ignorant hate stirring racists that even most african americans hate so I just wish those two would shut up.

Ahh once again I find more ignorance. You said Jena Six are thugs correct? You said that its wrong to gang up on one person right? So would you please explain to me why white people came over to African and enslaved our people. Why are whites intimidated by black people and their culture because frankly I need an answer. I didn't ask to be brought here and if we are such a problem give us back our diamonds and our land. Those boys deserve detention or suspension for what they did but life in prison is over the top.

i like the hispanic men that dress with surfing shirts and raggy clothing, like they only chilled in an island all day, yet no longer those that act white, those that even have spiced up hispanic in them yet surfer type. long hair or short spiky bleached in spite of it is going hair and sparkling shaved infant face with a severe high quality skinny warm physique and tanned or darkish dermis and massive lashy eyes and finished lipssss ahhhh, ok.

They were wrong for jumping that one white guy. But as usual with people who ask this question, they never mention that a week before this incident a group of white boys attacked one black boy, he was beaten up and hit over the head with a glass bottle but only one white boy was charged and he was given probation, why not the same charges and verdict for the black boys?????????

And as another poster said, you should research the entire case not just bits and pieces and you will see the difference in justice given to the white kids and the black kids.

Andrew: You and individuals that think like you are the very reason why "hate" and "violence" in any form continues to thrive in every society and social class across America. Please get informed with facts because "KNOWLEDGE" is power. The bottom line is The nooses should NOT have been hung in the first place.

Who are the Jena Six?

Jena 6: Jenna Six, An American Tragedy -

Jena is a small highly segregated rural Louisiana town that we published a story about a few weeks ago that many other outlets had ignored. It is now in the news front and center so we thought we would revisit the topic and perhaps introduce it to those who are reading about it for the very first time.

In September of 2006, a black student asked permission from school administrators to seek the cool offering of solice under the shade of a tree that is commonly reserved for the enjoyment of the white students of the school.

School officials allegedly told the Black students that it was ok to sit wherever they wanted and they went ahead and did so. The next day, three nooses, in the school colors, were found hanging from the same tree.

After an investigation, the Jena high school principal determined that three white students were responsible and it was recommended that they be expelled. The expulsions would subsequently be overturned by the white superintendent of schools and issued the students a three day suspension, saying that the nooses were simply "a youthful stunt."

As a result, black students organized a sit-in under the tree to protest the soft treatment given to the white students. African American parents tried to voice their opinions and were repeatedly shot down.

The town's district attorney quickly arrived, flanked by police officers, and told the Black students to stop making such a big deal over the nooses. The school assembly, like the schoolyard where all of this had begun, was divided by race, with the Black students on one side and the white students on the other. Directing his remarks to the Black students, District Attorney Reed Walters said, "I can make your lives disappear with a stroke of a pen."

In November, tension was still high and the academic wing of the school burned in a fire. An attack ensued outside of school where the assailant, a white student, was charged with simple battery after an Black student was punched and beaten with beer bottles.

Hostilities grew.

On Monday, December 4 2006, a white student named Justin Barker got into a fight with Black students. Allegedly, the white student had been allegedly racially taunting the black students in support of the students who hung the nooses and was reportedly taken to the hospital treated and released.

Six Black Jena students (Mychal Bell, Robert Bailey Jr., Carwin Jones, Bryant Purvis, Theo Shaw and Jesse Beard) were subsequently arrested and charged with attempted second degree murder. All six were expelled from school. On the morning of the trial, the District Attorney reduced the charges from attempted second degree murder to second degree aggravated battery and conspiracy.

The all-white jury deliberated for less than three hours and found Mychal Bell, the only one charged as an adult, guilty on the maximum possible charges of aggravated second degree battery and conspiracy. He awaits a Sept. 20 sentencing hearing. Mychal Bell faces up to a maximum of 22 years in prison. The cases against the other five Black students are pending.

Black, white, red, green, purple I don't care one bit what color if six guys jump and beat one kid nearly to death they deserve everything that is coming to them. But if they do get out on it I just hope someone will return the favor.

i am not sure of all of the facts in the case because I do not live there but I hope the judicial system will do the right thing.

I don't care what anyone says but to me it seems very cowardly for 6 men or young men to beat up on one person, not matter what that race that maybe.

Tribal mentality is a good way to put it. Pretty pathetic most people seem to be eating all the hype about their being martyrs up. Very sad place America seems to be going.
