Your anti-virus software should put them in that virus vault. Find the delete vaulted button. If you cannot find one go to help on the program. If that does not work go to the web site and get more information.

Worse comes to worse get a new anti-virus program.

If you delete them from your Virus vault, they're gone, however, if, by "Every time I scan my PC..." you mean AVG finds them again (not the ones in your virus vault), then the virus is coming back each time. If so try running AVG in Safe Mode.

Safe Mode often prevents the malware from running and protecting itself.

Also, turn off System Restore to evict any copies of bad stuff that might be lurking there.

    To get into Safe Mode:

    1. Log out and reboot your machine.

    2. When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.

    3. Select Safe Mode from the resulting menu.

    4. The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different. You won't be able to see the Internet, for instance. Log in as Administrator. Administrator often has no password.

    5. When you're finished, log out and reboot back into normal mode.

    Good luck.

You have them in your system restore points.

Disable "System Restore" for Windows Me and XP, then restart your PC to clean your system restore points for viruses, spyware, adware etc.

    http://www.microsoft.com/technet/community/en-us/m...

    Then scan again.

    Or try some online scanners.

Try a online antivirus scanner and a online anti-adware/malware/spyware scanner in safe mode with network to clean up your computer BEFORE you download anything. This because the program you download can get infected.

Disable "System Restore" for Windows Me and XP, then restart your PC to clean your system restore points for viruses, spyware, adware etc.

    http://www.microsoft.com/technet/community/en-us/m...

    Now restart in safe mode.

To get in safe mode Press "F8" upon boot up.

    Select "Safe mode with Network".

Go to Start – Run - type iexplore http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html Enter(ok).

Do a full scan of all your drives. If something is found, delete it, reboot and do the same again in safe mode with network.

When that scan does not find anything you reboot again in safe mode with network.

Go to Start – Run – type iexplore http://www.ewido.net/en/ Enter(ok).

Do a full scan of all your drives. If something is found, delete it, reboot and do the same again in safe mode with network.

**NOTE**: Do NOT do anything else with your computer when scanning. This because you can start virus/adware/spyware/malware manually.

When no one of these scanners are showing anything you can reboot back to normal mode.

    Turn on "System Restore".

    ---------------

Antivirus: BitDefender Online scanner - will scan and remove threats.

Anti adware/spyware: Ewido Online Scanner - will scan and remove threats.

    ---------------

**NOTE**: Only have one antivirus program and one firewall installed on your computer.

Anti-adware/malware/spyware are ok to have more off.

You need to get one antivirus program, one firewall, pop up blocker and some spyware/adware/malware removers if you don't have it.

Send them to quarantine (I call this file crap!!) then delete.
