Italy beat France 1-1 (5-3)
Zidane scored a goal in the 7th minute from a penalty. 12 minutes later Materazzi scored a goal with his head. Minute 110 Zidane got a red card for headbutting Materazzi in the chest because Materazzi called Zidane's sister a whore. In penalties all the Italians scored (Pirlo, Materazzi, De Rossi, Del Piero, Grosso) while France's Trezeguet missed his penalty causing France to lose.
