Am I Racist? A Black Supremesist?

4 days ago I made a video titled "South Africa" about Race Relations, Black Economic Empoerment and Affirmative Action and soon after it was up I recieved mail and comments saying that I was a racist against white people.

Others have told me that it is not racist at all! What do you think? Am I being harsh on whites? Am I just expressing the truth. You must remember that my country has just come out of Apartheid (12 years ago) and some wounds for some people are still fresh. Should i just get over it as others have suggested?

Here's the link to the video:

I watched the video and can't really see where there is any expression of racism or Black supremacy.

After all how can you discuss the practice of and the recovery from Apartheid without discussing things in terms of race? You can't.

Given that this is a personal perspective from someone who has dealt with Apartheid and is dealing with its aftermath I don't find it too "harsh" at all.

Sometimes you find that when some past wrongs that were racially, or ethnically based are being discussed, members of the "offending, nationality, race, etc." can sometimes become very defensive. Sometimes its difficult for all parties to separate the members of a race who committed an atrocity from other members of the race who did not.

But, again, I don't really see that in your video, but maybe a few of the people you mentioned were suffering from it.

I was in South Africa in 197q and the only word I can find to describe the situation then : disgusting

now that apartheid is gone and buried (hopefully) it doesn't matter what you do or say there will always be people with a polarized view and some for and some against you .. keep up the pursuit that makes you happy .. things can only improve .. it may take generations, but it took generations for people to get like that .. are you racist or supremacist? No, just an individual who can think for themselves and not follow the plodding mob hysteria

I am a white American and I didn't think there was anything racist about that video....facts are facts -- if that shiit really happened to black South Africans and then you tell about it on a video, then I wouldn't call it racist - I'd call it a documentary

No your video is not racist you are telling the truth, sorry but apartheid was awful, and for those who say get over it i wonder how they would feel if their country was taken over by a minority of foreigners who removed all of their rights and essentially treated them like shite in their own country. You would n't be hearing lets get over it way until the next century.

I saw that video, I don't think you're being too harsh at all considering the havoc they wreaked on your country. The same thing happened to my people here in the US (I'm Eastern Band Cherokee Native.) You don't seem the sort of person who would dislike someone just because they happened to be white, and I think it bothers some of the white people because they're responsible for the images they see on there.

When in Rome, they should have done as the Romans. Would it kill them to learn isiZulu, isiXhosa, etc. or at least pronounce a few names properly?

I just watched your video. I don't know you personally but at first sight it doesn't seem racist at all. But I do believe it would be much better for all if blacks and whites all got over it...

Not Racist yet, but on the verge......everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
