How do you handle life with a famous name?

For x number of years you have lived quite happily as Harry Potter for example. Then, thanks to JK Rowling has your life been turned upside down? Is your name David Beckham, Jonny Wilkinson, or worse, Ian Huntley, Fred West etc. Your stories please.

    I do.

It is very embarrassing. At a wedding last weekend we arrived at the reception to find a host of people around our seating waiting for a famous person to arrive. I just sat down and waited for the disappointed looks.

My children used to think it fun but now they are older it is just an embarrassment for them. The grandchildren have now jumped in on the act. lol

My sister's name is Jennifer Lopez, got her last name from her husband 2 years ago, anytime she pays with her credit card in the store, people are always sure to take a double look at her wondering if she is the real JLO.

My brother's name is Stephen King. We spend a lot of time saying "No, not THE Stephen King". I think it's cool, but I'm not sure that he does!
