depressing thoughts put into words? want to read?
no title
can we trade her for another,
she's nothing like her sister,
she needs to see a phyciatrist,
maybe that would fix her.
her hearts as cold as ice,
like her poetry, corrupt,
how could she be so unlike me,
why's she so f**ked up?
those were the words she used,
that's what my mama said about me,
and she also said,
"i love you unconditionally"
well isn't that just hypicritical,
you can't love and hate me too,
so which one is your choice,
do you even have a clue?
"I've been a good mama to you,
way better than mine was,
i don't beat on or hurt you,
i just give you my love."
when you say those things,
you know that they're all lies,
or maybe you see it differently,
maybe youre perfect in your eyes.
whatever the case may be,
I dont really care,
I'm tired of all your sh*t,
so i'm running off somewhere.
as you watch me disappear in the trees,
and the light fades from the sky,
you know you'll never see me again,
and you'll always wonder why
ok, just to let everyone know, I LOVE my mom, and this is NOT something about me, and i do NOT need to see a phyciatrist. Is that clear?

My dear dear child..the tears are streaming down my face so that i cannot even type. You have poured your heart out in your words and MY heart is breaking for you. You are obviously too young to understand unconditional love..for this deepest of all love comes when you have born a child. And that love that is unconditional is the most sincere. DO NOT compare yourself with any other person in this world. You are unique. You are special. God created only one YOU and God don't make no junk. If I were you I would leave this poem somewhere where others can read it. I would talk to a trusted adult or school counselor and I would continue to write. YOU HAVE A GIFT!! Yes your writing is based on your own human tradgedy of sorts..but the gift is there. When I was younger I wrote poetry from my heartache.(some of my best) and have since become a published poet. Love your mama dear one no matter what. And your sister.. with age comes maturity and a deeper understanding of why people do the things they do. You will stay in my thoughts and I will always wish you the best in life...this too shall pass dear one...NEVER give up. I LOVE YOU>

You know, I know that you think I'm one of the "bad guys", so perhaps you won't read this all the way through. I really wish you would either, share this poem with your mom (ideally in a professional environment like a family psychologist) or show it to her with the idea that you need to get to a family psychologist. Poetry can be an effective means of sharing the stuff no one in your family wants to talk about, but if you don't share it, then all it is doing is solidifying your own position and keeping your emotions "out there" and in the way of working out your problems. I realize that you are "stuck" because of your age, but if your parents can't see the need for professional help then it unfortunately falls in your lap to have to force the issue.
I know I've said this before to others here, but you have to find a way to resolve your issues. Your parents, even if they realized their part in the problems, would only say "sorry" but they would still leave you with the brunt of the work to do. You will always carry self-destruction with you, until you work through these problems. The good news is that your young and most people don't ever deal with their problems until they are much older, if ever. They look for others to fix their problems, or make them forget, or make them go away for a bit. But the problems NEVER go away until YOU make them go away. You have to be your own best hero. You have to fight and push your problems away. You may have to lose all of your friends who are really just enablers.
I'm sorry, but if you can't get your family into counsellings then you have to go for yourself. You have to find a program or someone who will help you. They do exist.
Good luck. I really hope you do well.

HI KARA' i really loved your poem as i know it really came straight from the heart as all of yours do.You are a great person and you have your little clicks about what makes yourself you.People should never compare people with others as we are all different and the;s what makes us all individuals,,I DON;T KNOW IF THIS IS ABOUT YOUR LIFE ; BUT IF SO DON;T RUN OFF IN TO THE TREES AS YOU WOULD REALLY BE MISSED..Do you have some you can confide in and ask them to talk to your mom.I had to do that one time when i was 14 and it really helped; as i kept everything in; my mom didn;t know of this sadness i was going thru.talk to a councillor or a close relative or even a grandma if you have one near.,[[[,;hugs']]]] If you want to talk anytime you just email me your friend always Shelly
