I am very uncomfortable with mouth cankers?

for the past week I've had continuous cankers on the roof of my mouth, front of my tongue and side way at the back near my throat. some foods bother them more than others. I take pain relief and salve over the counter which helps. but once those wear off it's just as bad.

Sounds to me that you have more than canker sores. They are usually found on the gum line. You could have something serious which needs to be looked at by a doctor. Canker sores usually last 7 to 10 days.

My dentist led to the best treatment for canker sores! And it's delicious as well. He suggested that drinking a glass of milk, eating a bowl of ice cream (actually I figured that one out), or taking a some type of heartburn medication (such as a tums) will actually take the pain away.

It has to do with the calcium in those which apparently help the cankers. I forget the explaination but it really works. I've been getting cankers ever since I can remember and this is the best solution I've found.

mouthwash such as listerine can get rid of these pests. Make sure to rinse your mouth out with mouthwash every time you feel pain or itchy. However, if it continues, you might want to go to a doctor as it might be something serious like food allergy or more serious. hope it gets better.

    thanks meep meep!!

Rinse your mouth with some warm(or hot) salt water...it does the trick for me everytime.

or some nice citrus-y drinks like orange juice or lemonade (rinse if you want)
