Why is the epidural space absent in the brain?

Right and left brained thinking has to do with a preference for thinking in terms of logic, language and reason (left brained) and creative intuitive sensitive (right brained), some even say that those who prefer artistic subjects tend to be more right brained and those who prefer science and mathemstics are left brained. This idea came from Roger W. Sperry while studying the effects of epillepsy which earned him a Nobel prize. More and more research though is undermining this belief and we are learning more about how both sides of the brain are interconnected and mutually dependent. Yes certain parts of the brain are responsible for certain functions but they are more heavily integrated and less autonomous than originally thought. All of which detracts from the following point: Using the word Alcubierre (after the mathematician that figured out the equations describing a warp drive) doesn't bring us any closer to having a star trek style warp drive. It will require exotic matter that hasn't been discovered / syntehsized. As for Yin and Yang these are two balanced opposite concepts such as male/female, left/right, up/down, hot/cold etc. It's the philosphical concept that these opposites are mutually dependent and give rise to each other. None of these things would power a star ship. If the brain could generate power to make a starship go why not power a city? Why are we paying our gas and electric bills when our brains could power it? Yes the brain does radiate energy but that energy has been measured and it is ridiculously small. The tiny output of energy from the brain isn't enough to change the gravitational field in a way that is measurable.

The spinal epidural space ends at the foramen magnum, at the base of the skull, but there is of course dura covering the brain, so in a sense the space outside of the dura in the head can be considered epidural. In fact, this is where epidural bleeds occur. However, the dura of both the brain and spinal cord contains both the brain and the spinal fluid, so the brain will always be inside of the dura, therefore by definition there can be no epidural space contained within the brain.

Because most people are dumb enough as is. More space would only aggrevate this problem. Good Luck ! :)
