What contacts work for your dry eyes?

I currently wear my glasses most of the time, because every time I go to wear my contacts, my eyes dry out badly. I talked to my eye doctor about it, and he seemed of no help, to be honest, as if I don't know what I am talking about. After I put my contacts in, my eyes dry out within 30 minutes, and I have to constantly use my rewetting drops about 10-15 times a day. It's that bad. I have gone through about 3-4 different kinds of contacts(anywhere from extended wear to daily disposibles) and am encountering the same thing with each one.

I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

Also, I am looking at asking my eye doctor about the new Acuvue Oasys contacts. Has anyone had any luck with those when it comes to dry eyes?

I just want to wear my contacts and get out of my glasses without any discomfort or dryness. It sucks.

Any recommendations on contacts for dry eyes? I would prefer daily disposibles.

Update:

I actually have not tried Restasis. The thing is that my eyes are dry when I have my contacts in. I usually have no problem any other time with my eyes becoming dry or with producing tears.

I honestly don't know if I have tried Biometrix. I will have to take a look at the packages I have at home. I still have the boxes from the contacts I tried previously.

Oops...Forgot what brand you said, and took a guess at it..Looks like I was wrong...I meant't to say, Biomedics. LOL.

Update 3:

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that the contact solution I am using is the new Opti-Free Replenish. I had also picked up a small bottle of the Opti-Free Replenish rewetting drops in hopes of those helping, but they aren't any better than Clerz Plus(which is what I was using before)

    Have you tried Biomedics XC? That is one of our favorite contacts for dryness. Also what solution are you using? Just make sure you stay away from generic brands. You might have to consider trying Restasis. It is a prescription drop that helps the body produce more tears. Hope this helps!!

    I am using the Acuvue Advanced for Astigmatism w/ Hydraclear. It is great compare to the Acuvue Toric.

    the Acuvue Oasys was designed to give more comfort to the eyes. It should help you a lot with the dryness problems.
