Do hair dyes stain your shower when you apply them?

I ask because they did at home, but we had a rather odd shower, and the floor of it wasn't a standard materiel. Now I'm renting a room, and really don't want to stain the shower here because I'd have to pay to get it unstained. But I'd like to dye my hair a bit, with one of the semi-permanent dyes. So do they generally stain the shower?

No, I have dyed my hair many times and my shower has never stained. plastic or ceramic or porcalin enamel. Actually I take that back, only one time did it stain my tub but the tub was old and the enamal was worn out and even the water was staining the tub,LOL. It should be just fine. If you want to make sure it doesn't just in case, clean it out with comet clenser (bleach). I hope you got a cool color :-)

It may stain it a little bit. Clean it with some type of tub cleaner such as scrubbing bubbles as soon as you get out and you should be fine.

Rinse it right off and it should not stain. If it does stain, use a little CLR cleaner and it comes right out.

Well.... They shouldn't do. You could always try a tiny tester on a bit of your bath and then wash it away? It should do if you do it quickly before it dries. Or if not surely a bathroom cleaner spray should remove it. :) Good luck.

if its white it will stain, especially if your rinseing the color out. buy soft scrub, its bleach for sinks and showers and stuff, i dye my hair all the time and it stains my white sink all the time but soft scrub gets it out immediatly.

i would be really careful that stuff stains anything. i got it on my door once and i couldnt get it off. if you do get it on anything wash it right away it might come off.

Your shower should be fine if your rinse it out directly after you use it.
