God bless a good father!
Money comes and goes....love stays forever.
Don't feel bad ...feel blessed.
Just show how much you appreciate what he has done by doing good in life and making something of yourself.....that is more than words can say.........God bless

Finish high school as planned. Get a job in the summer. Once you figure out college schedule go part time if you can. as for an apartment if you want to avoid being dependent on him stick with staying at home or college dorm thing. I think you are fortunate you have his support emotionally and financially. This is good but do try to be respectful of it. You do not want to create something that goes on too long. Also with strings attached parents are in the loop and can have control if you are over 18 and on your own in an apartment he pays for. Good luck

Tell him to take it for a year and then come back!
Actually he is probably doing it for himself because if he left he would miss you and he probably wants to keep a good relationship going with his kids... you should tell him how much you appreciate that he wants to live near you but also that he should not pass up the job on your account...
Who knows, maybe he's already worth millions and doesn't really need the money.

Your dad has already made his choice. He probably had throughly gone through which option was best for him. If he didn't think it was the right thing to do he wouldn't have made that choice.
Besides, the choice is made now. So all you should do is be happy that your dad cares so much about you and your sisters.

Tell him thank you for being the dad that he is. Family is always more important than money. Remember this moment.
