There are regional differences in pronunciation, Irish has 3 distinct dialects.

"maith" is pronounced "mah" in Munster, "my" in Ulster

"aon" is pronounced "ane" in Munster, "een" in Ulster

"mealltach" is "mal-tagh" *gh like "ch" in Scottish "loch"

    "hit moh"

As far as I know there is no difference between the dialects for the last 2.

I can't say anything for certain about the Connaught and Connemara accents, not knowing any speakers from there.

I took the approximation to British English as guideline for the transscription.

    Maith: "mah"

    aon: "a(w)n"

    mealltach: "mehl-takh"

thit mo: "hit mo" or "it mo".

Contrary to the personal insults posted by an honorless dog, I am conversant in more than one language. I just am not so much of a braggart and pig as to announce it on every possible forum.
