Question for high school kids. What's hip now?

What are some bands that you guys like? What are some phrases you use? Do guys use words like, "cool" and "dude"?

    My friend's kid is in high school and from what I can tell not much has changed. Mohawks are popular, but as far as what words they use and so forth, pretty much the same ole same ole.

    We like to watch NBC Dateline's; To catch a predator. We like turning in drug dealers and pedophiles. We teach middle schooler's to beware of people they talk to online.
