I need to get verification for FBAR filing. The IRS website states that you can request verification of filing 90 days after the date they receive your form. Someone told me you could expedite the process by going to a local office. Is this correct?

Also, when would they vote on this?

I love Thailand and I like to help people who questions about it, but frankly, very few of these question require much more than a simple Yahoo or Google search.

I have. On my first trip I experienced so many fascinating places and such an interesting culture. Not to mention the people. I found them to be very warm, humble, hardworking people with great sense of humor.

I've since spent a lot of time throughout the country and the more I experience, the more I fall in love with the place.

We all know Thai people are great. Which is a big part of the reason so many of us are addicted to the place.

Apparently the phrase "gone bamboo" came about when western guys, many of them in the military, discovered places like Thailand and eventually ended up never coming back home.

I've traveled extensively, and spent much of the last five years in Thailand but never made the leap to living there.
