The Farangs from which country are your favorite?

Well, I like Aussies. But then - I am biased because I am one.

Having said that - I actually don't mind Americans, Brits and Canadians. YES! I am even willing to say Americans. The ones that have travelled are actually pretty cluey as to how to behave appropriately. There are a few groups which I think are worse than others but I am not going to name them here.

Being born in Thailand and have lived there, I think I can reasonably make an fair observation of farang from a perspective of a Thai person.

Like most other answerers here I agree that it is a pleasure to meet new people no matter where they're from. That being said, I think I most enjoyed the Canadians and Australians that I met. I love hearing all of the accents from around the globe.

Generally the farangs are ok. Those visiting to look around are fine. Those who only go there to leer at women, these I will kick butts.

During my visit to the Kingdom, I've been happy to meet and chat with Swedes, French, Americans, and of course Canadians.

I'm American, but will give my vote to the Swedes. Maybe because they were the people I happened to live near or patronize their businesses the most out of chance, but all very hospitable :)

I got to go with the Aussies. They're really nice and fun to be around. However, if you hang out with them, you must be prepared to drink. They can put it away.

I like the Brits also, because of their manners and dry humor.

I never met a farang here i didn't like.

p.s. why did you not include americans?

the girls in my apartment complex prefer americans.

- they usually stay only a week or two (americans have only 1 week leave days paid) but sped the same money what europeans spend in one or two month.
