Can I get verification of FBAR filing from a local IRS office?
I need to get verification for FBAR filing. The IRS website states that you can request verification of filing 90 days after the date they receive your form. Someone told me you could expedite the process by going to a local office. Is this correct?

No. FBAR is a treasury form. You don't even send it to the IRS.
BTW, it needs to be received in Detroit by 6/30, not just mailed by 6/30.
