Health and Wedding Stress?
I recently got my Blood Pressure checked and it's much higher than it was last year. Having recently gotten engaged, could the added stress of planning the wedding adversely affected my blood pressure? Has anyone else noticed an increase in blood pressure after getting engaged? Is wedding planning really that stressful?

it really should not be stressful, its yours and you're bride to be's wedding, no one else's, over the years i have seen so many brides or grooms stressed out because they try to please too many people, parents, friends, even people giving advice on what to wear what sort of music at wedding, what sort of cake, etc etc, when i proposed to my wife of 29 years, it was the last day of may, i asked her, she said yes, she asked when, i said why not your birthday, mid July, 6 weeks and it was done, we did what we wanted, we didn't let anyone stress us, it was OUR wedding, same as its YOUR wedding, why stress, its meant to be the best day of your life, don't let others confuse you from the one thing that is most important, your bride to be and your day

It's as stressful as you let it. You just got engaged. Relax and enjoy being engaged. Then surround yourself with organized people to help you with the planning. Focus on the big things first, like guest list, location and catering, and worry about the small things, like colors, favors or cake, later.

It can be. The combination of working, school and wedding planning made me lose almost 20 pounds. I got down to 106 lbs and it was very unhealthy. Then I got some sense snapped back into me and became healthier.
