does the portable EdenPURE heater work well?
There was a full page ad in the richmond paper. It said it was on "Paul Harvey News". What does anyone know about it It sounds great. New kind of heating technology-- reduces your heat bill-doesn't get hot enough to burn you. blah, blah, whazzup?

Just go to Wal Mart and buy a ceramic space heater for about $40.00 same effect and you will feel a lot better about the price of the power to heat with it.
The main advantage of either is that they allow you to turn the main heat down a little and just heat the space you are using (bedroom at night or den in the evening, ect.)
Either one uses electric resistance heat for its source and that is still the most expensive heat per btu that you can buy.

If you are considering buying one of these heaters please check out this sight, the infra red bulbs are not replaceable in the Eden Pure, check out portablefurnace.com, the bulbs are replaceable in these heaters and work with the infra red bulbs.....
Some friends of ours have the Eden Pure and they seem to do a good job, however your electric bill will go up, but they figure they are still ahead of the game as it really reduces their natural gas bill.
