To clarify what has gone before in some other answers -

Type 1 - Sometimes referred to as "insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus" or "IDDM" for short. This form of diabetes is the most serious. At this level of disease, the body stops making insulin or only produces very small amounts

Type II - Called "non-insulin dependent mellitus" or NIDDM. This form of diabetes usually afflicts adults past 40 years of age but can occur at any age. With Type II diabetes, the body does not produce enough insulin or cannot utilize the insulin it produces.

Type III - This is gestational diabetes. It occurs in some women during pregnancy and usually disappears after childbirth. Patients diagnosed are then reclassified after delivery. Many of these women may later develop Type II diabetes.

Type IV - includes other types of diabetes associated with genetic defects, pancreatic disease, hormonal abnormalities or side effects of drugs.

I add a link with some technical details on the subject of type IV.

While I have never heard of a type 4 diabetes, it wouldn't surprise me if health officials came up with another type to classify us even further.

Type 1 (IDDM) is insulin dependent...no other option...must take insulin to survive, by injection or insulin pump...most serious of all types, can be difficult to manage...typically occurs in childhood and teen years but can also happen in the 20s...rarely seen after age 25.

Type 2 (NIDDM) is non insulin dependent...but some patients with this may end up on insulin when oral meds are no longer effective...deals more with weight, poor diet and low exercise level...mainly hits adults age 40 or over...now being seen in children and teens...some type 2s can manage with diet and exercise, others must take oral medications or insulin...not as serious as type 1...far more common than type 1...roughly 10-15% of all diabetics have type 1...vast majority are type 2.

Gestational diabetes...occurs in pregnancy with some women...usually disappears after birth of baby...leaves mother much more likely to develop type 2 later in life...babies may be of high birth weight (10 pounds or more)...the only type of diabetes that is "curable".

Diabetes Insipidus...not related to blood sugar but related to the body's ability to retain water. Severe dehydration can result...can be life threatening. Fairly rare, not commonly seen. Causes unknown. Medication must be taken for life once diagnosed, usually by water-deprivation tests.

So...no diabetes type 4 in there. I honestly don't have a clue. Like I said before, though...it wouldn't surprise me.

If there was a type 4, I suppose I could fit into that category. My diabetes (I'm type 1 and use a pump) was traced to a traumatic injury from a car accident I was in some years ago. I had severe abdominal injuries, including pancreatic injuries. However, since I've been insulin dependent since the day I was diagnosed, it doesn't really make sense to change my classification...I still have to use insulin or die...it doesn't matter how I got diabetes...I have it.

Never heard of any Diabetes Type IV

Generally Diabetes is clssified as Type I and II the details are:

Type 1 diabetes (formerly known as "childhood" or "juvenile" diabetes or "insulin dependent" diabetes) is most commonly diagnosed in children and adolescents. The adult incidence of Type 1 is similar to that for children [1], which is one of the reasons for changing the preferred term. Many adults diagnosed with Type 1 have been misdiagnosed as Type 2 diabetics, which has partly accounted for the misconception of Type 1 as a disease of children.

The most important forms of diabetes are characterized by decreases in, or the complete absence of, the production of insulin (Type 1 diabetes), or decreased sensitivity of body tissues to insulin (type 2 diabetes). The most useful laboratory test to distinguish Type 1 from Type 2 diabetes is the C-peptide assay, which is a measure of endogenous insulin production since external insulin to date has included no C-peptide. Lack of insulin resistance, determined by a glucose tolerance test, would also be suggestive of Type 1. Many Type 2 diabetics still produce some insulin internally, and all have some degree of insulin resistance

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.
