    To protray something in a context its not. Like someone saying you make a mockery of an American, means the actions that you are doing show americans in a way that we typically aren't.

    That depends on the context it is used in.

    To mock, or mockery could mean several things; from ridiculing someone, to make fun of them, or to lead on in order to deceive (fake), to imitate, meaning this kind of imitation is often done to make fun of those that are being imitated.
