9-11 Conspiracy believers... danger to democracy?

In the last few weeks, 9-11 conspiracy believers have disrupted speeches and events featuring Bill Maher, Hilary Clinton and Bill Clinton. These people seem to be reaching a fever pitch. Is there a threat that they could become dangerous? Delusional people can build themselves up to any act, including assassination. Is there a threat one or more of these people will find justification to strike out at Bush, Rice or anyone else they believe is responsible for 9-11?

Also, for people who do believe in a 9-11 conspiracy: Do you consider yourself liberal, moderate, conservative or other? I'm interested to know if you have an political tendency.

Conspiracy devotees are simply people that have done way too many drugs. To think that we or any member of our Government could do such a thing is absolutely absurd.

It was also a conspiracy that won Dubya the election, RIGHT!

Conspiracy theories abound because some people are hate mongers, they hate the government, they hate each other.

I'm sure they will hate this response as well.

Do I care? Hell no! These are just sick people, really sick people with a good deal of grey matter but little common sense.

If I may just say one more thing. We are in a Jihad, a holy war that was thrust upon us because we are who we are.

We are a God fearing nation, a kind and giving nation that is constantly giving to other, less fortunate countries.

Some of whom turn on us. France looks upon us as a nation of idiots. However, if it weren't for us and our help, they'd all be speaking German now.

    I rest my case.

The majority of people who are the most dangerous of all extremists are the ones that you don't hear from at all until they --- do what they do !!

The least of ALL people to be expecting some THING as you are elluding to herein --- are the people who are making verbal and physical challenges in public forums about ANYTHING !! They are simply putting their Constitutionally guaranteed rights into play with freedom of speech at the center of what they are doing---- And, even though some of them get carried away --- and when they do --- should be removed and / or incarcerated for being out of line in public -- most are just Having Their Say --- which is something FAR MORE people should be doing !!!

I consider myself a Proud Liberal --- don't adhere to any "conspiracy stuff" except the one that sees the World Bank at the heart of a Globalist move to push the loss of ALL national soveriegnties for the One World Government that is coming !! 9 / 11 ? Simply don't know --- but, definitely wouldn't put it passed them !!

One would do MUCH better to keep an eye glued on the people in position to do the absolute MOST damage to EVERYTHING HERE --- the one's who are in power and turning their deaf ears to a public that they are sworn to listen to and represent !!! There is FOR MORE TO FEAR from THESE people than from all of the protesters combined !!!!

I don't pay too much attention to 9-11 conspiracy believers , however heres a little food for thought . This country was founded by people who questioned the government (England) and in many cases acted violently to enforce and protect those beliefs . As for those who question things now whom we tend to call kooks , we don't have respect what they are saying but we should respect their right to say it . This is not a danger to democracy it is one of the cornerstones of it .

An example of what you're saying is Timmy McVeigh.

He got so caught up in hating our gov't that he took it out by blowing up the Federal Murrah Building in Oklahoma CIty, killing lots of plain, innocent gov't workers and many children.

    He called them "collateral damage."
