I don't have children but I volunteered in a daycare for about a year. Little girls love purses and lip gloss. One little girl had a purse with lip gloss in it, one of the other workers found her in the corner eating the lip gloss and smacking really loud on it. The daycare worker went over to her and asked her if it was good, the little girl shook her head yeah. She said what does it taste like? The little girl said sh*t. It was hilarious how she said.

My 4yr old has a huge vocabulary, and really loves to use those big words. When I came through the door the other day I tripped and dropped my purse, and he sighed all dramatically, shook his head and said "Terrible. That's just ridiculous mommy." And walked away shaking his head. It was hilarious to me. Such a little man!

My daughter kept asking me to come sit next her. So, as soon as I had finished folding the laundry I went over and sat next to her. She started laughing. I asked her what was so funny. With a big grin she said "Mommy, you are sitting in my ketchup". The little thing had spilt some ketchup on the chair and tricked me into sitting on it. She takes after her dad.

I was singing along with the radio and he said "No Mom, I just want to hear the guy!"

He was already familiar with M&M's, but the first time he saw Skittles candy he said "I know what these are called! They are S&M's!"

When my daughter was five she came running to me, crying. Her two year old brother had called her "An old deck of cards."

Now that she's 13 and he's 10 we still call each other "You old deck of cards."

my son (3 yrs old) walked up to his daddy and said quite clearly..."daddy, I'm going to hit you in your A"

I was horrified thinking he was referring to a bad word until he poked his dad in the chest...I didn't realize that he was wearing a shirt with the word NAVY printed across the front and my son had recognized the letter A!
