OUCH!!! I just bit my tongue when eating. Do animals ever do this and is it as painful?

I don't know, but just a sec and I'll ask my dog......................................................................................................................uh...Jersey She said NO, she has never bitten her tongue, but if she does it would be painful. Straight from the dogs mouth. lol

Now HOW in the world would a normal, average, everyday person know the answer to this question. I hope this is not an indication of how my week is going to be going.

Have you ever tried asking this to an animal? they might be able to answer for you.

I imagine they must occasionally. This would be rather a problem for venomous creatures, perhaps.

i know a python that did that and it turned itself inside out trying to swallow itself
