Now that the Colts were caught cheating?

Can we all agree that every team tries to get away with something every now and then?

Some nerd got my question deleted so I am asking it again.

Sure every team tries it now and then in every sport..........It's been like that since-----forever........My problem with it is when a team that's a "super" team tries it..........It's not needed and it will always leave a question like "did they get to be a super team BECAUSE they've been cheating right along" in my mind...........We have spit balls, shoe polish on baseballs, caulked bats just to name a few.........It's nothing new but raising the level of the crowd noise artifically is new.......As Brady said he couldn't hear anything anyway so even if it was true it didn't matter to the Pats.......He said that before it was proved to be a technical glitch in the crowd audio feed and I do know all about that having been a TV tech for several years........It can easily happen........Of course I would love to see it all get caught and the guilty party or parties "punished" for real cheating but that's probably never going to happen...............CAT

There's a distinction that needs to be made here. When you observe your opponent and use what you learned from that observation to better your team's play, that's not cheating that's scouting. There's a rule that says you can't aim cameras in certain ways to capture certain things for use DURING that game. The Patriots weren't doing anything to directly impact that outcome of THAT game.

Cheating is dishonorably trying to impact the outcome of the game. Why is it that the Chiefs were fined for jacking up the noise in their stadium, but people think it's OK that the Colts are doing it... Now, it's just something that everyone else does. This will get swept under the carpet like anything else the Colts might do, just like the bad calls made that were very one-sided. The league will probably apologize to the pats, and that'll be it.

The Colts weren't actually caught cheating. I think that the Patriots are being stupid for even bringing this up. If the Pats wouldn't have been held in check for 3 and a half quarters by the best team in the league, the Pats wouldn't be bringing this up. The Patriots are just trying to find an excuse for their less than stellar game against the Colts. I am a huge Colts fan but I do congratulate the Pats for having such a great season so far. I do believe that most sports teams cheat in some way although probably not as seriously as stealing signs like a certain Pats coach lol.

CHEATING IS SUCH AN UGLY WORD THEY REALLY DON'T CHEAT INTENTIONALLY WHAT ALL TEAMS DO IS LOOK FOR A WAY TO GET THE BEST MARGIN OF VICTORY AND THEY EMPLOY THAT IN THEIR GAME PLANS. LIKE THE PATRIOTS AND JETS GAME WHAT HELP WOULD GETTING A HAND SIGNAL DO YOU IF THERE IS WEEKS WORTH OF DECIPHERING TO DO TO ACTUALLY GET A LEG UP ON THE COMPITITION STUDYING THESE SIGNALS IS LIKE PULLING EYE TEETH WITHOUT NOVACAINE. WELL NOISE IN A STADIUM CAN CAUSE MORE OF A DISRUPTION THAN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT SOME HAND SIGNALS. BUT EITHER WAY IT WAS THERE WAY OF TRYING TO LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD THE COLTS KNEW GOING INTO THE GAME THAT IT WAS GOING TO TAKE ALL THEY HAD THEY JUST NEEDED 8MIN 30 SECONDS MORE AND THEY COULD HAVE WON. BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME AND WE WILL BE READY FOR THE REMATCH

Is this confirmed by the league or just more accusations?

Did the league fine the Colts, take away draft picks or are you just fishing for some dirt to turn the attention away from the Pats issues?

Its funny how some people on here can get questions deleted along with answers, but then BLATANT taunting in questions by the same individuals are left alone, something fishy and wrong here

Source(s): ZINGER show me proof of belichek having anything to do with this.

as a pats fan i dont care. i think both cheating cases are trivial. colts "cheated" then fine. it really wasnt a huge part of the game

The league will probably cover this up for the Colts.

first, the colts were not caught cheating. they are looking into it. let it rest until we find out what the real truth is.

second, a few hours ago you pats fans were bi*ching about the ref's and saying that's the reason you almost lost. now you've all changed your tune.

you're all a bunch of sorry @ss fans, seriously.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that Belidick was behind the scenes creating this subterfuge. Anything to direct the cheating scandals away from the Pats.
