What do you think about transsexuals?

Keep in mind transsexuals aren't necessarily HOMOsexuals. I know how some of these religious people feel about THAT. And I'd like responses from your heart. Not what your church thinks, or your bible thinks..I wanna know what PEOPLE think.

I'm a Christian, and have several transsexual friends. Some have undergone full gender reassignment surgery; others haven't. I don't personally have a problem with them.

Have no problem with transsexuals...lovely people most of them....just like other groups of people.

Each to their own i say...what harm does dressing how you feel good do?

Not as much as believing in a God...i don't think high heels and a boob tube have ever asked you to kill others in their name! lol

    Transsexuals turn me on... .

I find people who can be open and honest about their sexuality and their sexual experiences to be refreshinng.... I wish I could meet one that was interested in a girl... They never seem to be..... The FtoM I've met are most of the time gay or in a committed relationship...

I think of transsexuals like any other group of people, that they should be treated with kindness and respect.

  • I thought that I was (non-op or pre-op) Transsexual until I found out my endocrine condition was really a hormonal Intersex condition. I still help my Transgendered friends and allies in their struggle for equality and safety. Thanks for asking.

Well, I don't go around asking folks if they've had a sex change. I can often discern however a homosexual spirit within them. They are lost souls that need the love of God to transform their lives. I do not know what is expected of them when they come to Christ in their condition except like the woman at the well who had five husbands and the one she had at the time wasn't hers so Jesus said "Go and sin no more". I think it would be a horrible travesty to have gone through a sex change and then be restored into your right mind and be happy with the sex God created you to be but you might not be able to go back to it. I would never want to be in that place but I do know that whatever the situation, God's grace is sufficient and His Spirit is able to lead us into all truth and to grant wisdom for where to go from the time and place that He comes into our lives no matter how much we've messed them up prior to. I guess the natural law God puts in place of sowing and reaping still applies even if you come to accept Christ just like someone who has drank may still suffer liver disease and someone who smoked will still suffer lung disease and so forth. People have gotten tattoos and done other things and regretted it later in life and especially so when they chose to ask Jesus into their life as Lord. God doesn't hold our past against us though and we can all look forward to the day we will have a new body and we will not be given in marriage but will be like the angels.

I personally would not feel comfortable around a transexual. I am a shy person and it might be hard to get used to that. I have no hate toward them though, they are still people like everyone else.

I honestly think people can do whatever they want with their lives as long as they don't bring harm others. People are people and we all bleed the same. If something makes someone else happy, then I am happy. The world needs more happiness.

I don't think anything bad of them. I love them and would never be rude to one just for who he/she is. After all, how Dare I??
