Do you agree with this? One Reporter’s Opinion – Americans Fed Up With Stealth Amnesty?

It is this reporter's opinion that the amnesty crowd won’t die easily.Led by Senate majority leader, Harry Reid, D-Nev., Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., and company, they've tried five times to shove comprehensive immigration reform through and each time the American people, in their infinite wisdom, have rebuked them. The defeat of the DREAM Act was a major setback. Then came California Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s attempt to add the AgJOBS bill to the Farm Bill and again they fell flat on their faces. Feinstein admitted that amnesty efforts lacked popular support and its proponents could not overcome the opposition. The recent Bank of America fiasco is further evidence that when the people speak, the amnesty crowd listens. Customers tore up their BoA credit cards when the bank decided to give credit cards to illegals. It cost Bank of America a 32-percent drop in business. The threat is not over. Feinstein plans to bring up AgJOBS amnesty as a stand-alone bill later this year. But the amnesty crowd may be getting the message. Eighty House Democrats and Republicans teamed up to propose a new immigration enforcement bill saying they reject the Reid-Kennedy attempt at amnesty. A large number of rank-and-file Democrats agree with most Republicans that the first step should be a get-tough approach to border security. This new approach includes going after businesses that hire illegals; improving information sharing among the IRS, Homeland Security, and Social Security to track illegals; and increasing the number of enforcement agents at the border. We the people are speaking up. The people are fed up with plans to merge the United States into a North American Union with Canada and Mexico which would destroy American sovereignty.

We are: Fed up with the refusal of the Federal government to secure our borders.

Fed up with armed Mexicans illegally crossing our borders and assaulting Americans.

Fed up when Americans like border agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean are sent to prison for defending us from drug-smuggling illegals.

Fed up with the millions of illegals in America costing taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars every year.

Fed up with a president who orders 160,000 young Americans into harm’s way, thousands of miles from home, yet refuses to secure America.

Fed up with politicians who refuse to enforce immigration laws and claim it is “impossible” to deport criminals who are here illegally

Fed up with illegals who take advantage of free medical services to dump their medical bills on our backs and push our hospitals into bankruptcy.

Fed up with federal, state, and local systems overrun by illegal aliens costing taxpayers billions each year.

Fed up with the fact that illegal aliens kill an average of 12 Americans every day.

Fed up with politicians who pamper illegals with driver’s licenses and free public services.

Americans are fed up with the Mexicanization of America! And finally, we are fed up with a president and members of Congress who consistently work on behalf of illegals and the state of Mexico and against the interests of the American people.

The American people are fed up, mad as he!!, and we are not going to take it anymore!

Wonder what the reaction would be if unemployed AMERICAN CITIZENS hung around Home Depot hoping to get picked up for a day job?

Would they be arrested for loitering? Would there be riots resulting from illegals outraged that someone is standing on their corner trying to get “their” jobs?

Amnesty is not the way to go. It will just keep them coming. Popping babies that they don't even want, thinking that this will keep them in the United States. Our government is a poor expample of one nation loving it's own citizens that put the shirt on their backs. They want to take our shirts and put them on illegal aliens backs, along with our medical and social security benefits. Let these losers do without and send their butts back where they came from. We can't expand the size of our continent to make room for all of them, their babies, let alone the dis-respect of our benefits, laws and regulations and the way they treat the flag of the United States of America. The fact that they won't learn our language is reason enough to get their a@@'@s out of the United States. God Bless our soldiers. If they had any love of the US they would be coming here legally and fighting in the same war to protect the country they all claim to want to live in. They don't want to help protect it, they just want it's wealth. These people are not only weak, they are also losers and when the threat of the US wealth comes under fire they will all want to move some where else and mooch off of that country. Give them drivers licenses, go ahead, I know someone who will tract every one I give them and then their *** is grass and the INS is the lawn mower.

Unemployed American citizens SHOULD stand in front of Home Depot trying to get day labor jobs. The press should be present to document the severity of this problem in the US, since the government does everything possible to hide it. We don't have a labor shortage in this country. What we do have are business owners and managers that wish to increase their profits by hiring people that don't have the right to complain about working conditions or pay. In the mean time citizens get to pay for all the needs of these illegal workers. So of course we are fed up. And we will not be brainwashed by government propaganda in support of amnesty. Our concerns about illegal immigration have nothing to do with racism, and there are no jobs that US citizens won't do.

Yes I'm mad as hell, I want to know what part of NO!! don't these people get. I'm also mad as hell about something else, I heard today that 1/4 of homeless people in this country are veterans, that's a disgrace and what I'd like to know is are the jobs being lost because of illegal immigration, as well as all those shipped to China and India and other places the jobs that these people who served their country could be doing to

support themselves and make a life and a future?. We have the likes of Bill Gates calling for "unlimited" worker visas while this is going on in our own back yard, this is an utter disgrace, and another reason why we need a total revamping of Congress and the White House, and what I'm talking about has nothing to do with the Republicrats, I'm looking past them.

Any true American, whether naturally born or naturalized, should take offense to illegal aliens. We have a system in place for those who want to become citizens. This protects Americans because it weeds out criminals (as much as possible), but gives others a chance to make a better life for themselves and their families. Trying to sidestep this process is an insult to all legal immigrants who played by our rules and worked hard to become American citizens. If you crossed the border in some other countries, you could be shot on the spot. Or, perhaps they'd have mercy on you and only imprison you for the next 60 years. Why shouldn't America protect her borders, too? Would you offer a cookie and a cup of tea to a criminal who just busted down your front door? I think not. Your first reaction would be to either kill him, injure him or get him the hell out of your home. Why should we expect anything less when it comes to protecting the American people?

I agree 100% with this assessment. The only issue not spoken of was that we have cheap labor available to us at every prison in this nation. Chain gangs are the way to do Ag jobs and many others that supposedly Americans will not do. But we pay for these convicts anyway, why not make them earn their way back into society and take a load off of the tax payers backs! The American people do not need illegals for anything at all.

Eh. What REALLY angers me is that so many illegal immigrants get so angry about not being treated fairly as Americans (jobs, amongst other things) when what they don't get is that, it's not because we don't like them. It's because it would damage our country to keep letting this happen. But they see it as their God given right.

I get angry when an immigrant gets deported and then all of (say, Mexico, for instance) parades and riots about their rights as equals, when, what they JUST DON'T get is that if you come to a country where you have no citizenship, break the law, you're GOING to pay the price. It happens with illegals and citizens alike.

And I'm sure that many Americans have dealt with issues with illegal immigrants, as far as violence goes, or poor service when a job is given to some one who can't even speak English, et cetera...

It's not that I dislike immigrants. Every Americans ancestors is an immigrant just about, so how can we? What irritates me is that when illegal immigrants come over, they tend to damage the country as far as taxes go, jobs, services, and so on.

I'm sure many countries (who are not English speaking, at large) would not like it if Americans, English, or anyone else were dropped on their door step or sneaked in.

Look at European Americans, and Europe. Just because our ancestors descended from Europe, does that mean we've got the God given right to just come on in and do the same thing that illegal immigrants have done in this country? It's not right, in general. But any time somebody says something about it, people get mad because they take it as a stab against them and their people, instead of the truth. Illegal immigration is damaging this country, and is putting burden on the citizens and legal immigrants.

Source(s): One last thing I'd like to add. Why is that leaders in this country care FAR more about pleasing people outside of America (to make America look like a better country).... You know, bringing Democracy to other nations, and pleasing illegal immigrants, but don't care at all about what the American people think? Doesn't it seem like our leaders care more about APPEARING a certain way to others outside of America, but don't make an effort to benefit the American people?

I agree with the "fed up" article. Illegal is illegal. It is well past time to enforce the laws we already have and secure this nation. If the politicians are not aware enough to understand that 77% of the citizens of the United States are also fed up, then it is high time they be forced to find new employment.

That is a nice role reversal. A lot of illegal immigrants do not seem to grasp the reason they are able to loiter around stores like that, American generosity is the only reason. They shouldn't be allowed to do it at all.

That story is on the nose. Legal American citizens and people here legally are opposed, unanimously, to amnesty. The only people that want it are politicians and illegal immigrants.

i do believe they are getting our message. this is an article i found yesterday. at least browse it. "Democrats face law and order dilemma" from the article; "The rising American discontent with illegal immigration has the potential to sever Democrats from the majority of voters — especially those in the working and middle class — like no issue has in four decades." i also found an article where hillary seems to be getting a clue as she seems to be waffling now on the illegal immigration issue. in oct. hillary said of the failed dream act she was not happy it failed and was determined to pass legislation later this year. also i do surveys and i got one yesterday, i don't know who commissioned it but it was political which i have never gotten before and it seemed that whoever requested the survey was fishing big time as to why and what exactly is grating on voters.

YOU HIT THE NAIL STRAIGHT ON THE HEAD.

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF TAKING SH!T FROM THESE ILLEGALS THAT TROT ACTOSS THE MEXICAN/AMERICAN BORDER AND THEN DEMAND EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN AND CALL US RACIST ON TOP OF IT!!!

these elected government workers had better start working FOR the american people that have elected them instead of pandering to the mexican illegals that do nothing but demand demand demand!!!

they will find that their cushy government jobs will be replace by others that will be willing to work for those people that have elect them!!!!!!

i think it's a riot that it constantly said that they are only working at jobs that no american will do. they just had a big round up of illegals at ohare airport. they were workiing as bagage handlers. they were not working at the airport picking vegetables. that old stand by is such a crock of sh!t that no one is taking it seriously any more. 20 MILLION mexicans are here picking vegetbales. bullsh!t !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if the millions of mexicans that are here illegally can not or will not get documents allowing them to stay in the country.... get out!

if the elected officials will not work for us.... get out!!!
