How come no one mentioned Peter Cech? I got the impression he is the current favorite for the position? Or I am mistaken?

Past: Gordon Banks and Lev Yashin...Second and first best goalkeepers of the 20th century respectively...Yashin is the only goalkeeper to win the European footballer of the year and is also believed to have blocked around 150 penalty kicks.
Present: Van De Sar and Peter Cech.Van De Sar was the best European Goalkeeper of the year in 1995. Peter Cech was the
