Can One Party Satsify all of America?

Would one party either left or right satisfy the needs of this country or would everyone else have to conform to the needs of the few. I think what I am really asking is before you rant that your party is better...Who is it better for?

Update:

Moody Red - well said and I quite agree.

Update 2:

Big Z - I would love to see more than 2 parties, it would take a lot of elections and years to establish its credibility though.

Just my opinion, but You can not satisfy everyone. No matter what your strengths and the faith you have in your beliefs, or how well you intentions, there will always be someone against your objectives.

There will always be extremes on both ends of the political spectrum and even the moderates, who may have the same goals would disagree on the means to an end.

Both sides feel they are for the good of the people. But in reality we would have to look at whether it is better to care for man, making sure all his needs are met, or let that man be able to stand up for himself as an individual.

In my humble opinion, It would be so easy for a faction to take control as a government by caring for all of a man's basic needs.

A man who is capable of educating himself and caring for himself first is better capable of taking of others.

Having multiple parties is what makes America beautiful. We have choices. having one party takes away that freedom of choice. and then it just slips into dictatorships. but forget that for a moment. think of that boss that you once had that no matter what you did, it was never good enough. even if it was your best work and someone else would say it was fantastic and a job well done. there are many people like that. if there were only one party, there is no way that everyone would be satisfied.

having multiple parties is the beauty of the whole thing. that's why everyone wants to come to America. they want that freedom of choice.

One party is not a democracy. The more parties the better. You will never satisfy all of America with one party or 100.

Wait- we have more then one party now?

    I just see Republicrats.

All pretty much act the same, do the same thing, and then make a huge deal out of minor differences that never get resolved... how convenient.

    EX:

Which party is for small government again, because it seems both parties expand it.

That is impossible; regardless of party affiliation, however, there are some things that people do not argue over or turn into political spats--that would be individual rights.

We can decide presently upon what those individual rights are? They were decided as inherant over 200 years ago. That is the parent party.

The Chinese Communists seem to be making a good effort to satisfy all of America.

One political party can never satisy the people, or should it. The two political parties once stood for very different things thirty years ago. Today they are like one disfunctional family. This country needs more political parties, we should have at least three.

"Can One Party Satsify all of America?"

Only if there WAS one party.

    Bipartisanship Centrism has been stigmatized

far too much by partisan hacks who use the

art of mudslinging as their primary platform

against the meekness of the less popular,

    but more correct minority candidates.

    No.

It is important to have a free flow of ideas from all sides of the political spectrum.

I lean to the right of center, but need the left to stay balanced.

No one party can satisfy all of America... heck, we can't even satisfy everyone with two parties.

It doesn't matter what you do.. you'll never satisfy everyone.
