We got engaged a couple months before our 2 year anniv. But by the time we get married on 10/18/08 it'll be 3 years & 4 months.

4 years for engagement, 5 1/2 years before we were actually married, been together a total of 8 years now.
I was 18 when we started dating, and 23 when we were married. That's why we waited so long.

2 years of dating before engagement, then another 2 years for marriage, have been married less than a month shy of 9 years. Holy cow, I just realized my anniversary is 20 days away, where did the time go?
