Ok, not a kitten...11yr old cat
But anyway, for somereason, her pupils(the black part) are huge! much bigger than usual, even in good light.
She's been spening alot of time in dim light..under blankets, in the bacement, wherever its dim.
she's not any clumsier than usual, but i'm worried about her.
Thanks!

Sometimes dilated pupils are a sign that she has had a stroke. If she's spending more time in the dark than usual, it could be that the lights are hurting her eyes, since the pupils are so dilated.
Your best course of action is to take her to the vet. Both physical AND behavioral changes are often a sign that something is medically wrong.
Good luck!

Well Vets have told me that you can tell something is wrong with a cat by looking at their eyes. Take her to the vet pronto. May be an infection or just old age but if you love your kitty it is worth making an appt. fast. Usually dilated eyes mean the animal is in pain. Call today!

When animals come of age their eyes will usually get white inside or more black. Its usually not a big deal. I would suggest taking your kitten to the vet to make sure its nothing more serious than that... they will probably give you medicine for the cat and she'll be better soon.
Good luck with the kitten!

It could be due to inflammatory/infection (uveitis) in the eye, Feline Leukemia, an abscess behind the eye, glaucoma, brain tumor, and a few other causes. I suggest you check with your vet.
Her spending time in darkened conditions could be due to her dilated pupils, causing the light to hurt her eyes and therefore leading her to avoid unnecessary exposure to it.
When one or both eyes dilate in good light, it may show she has something wrong with the nerves connected to the eyes or in the brain or the eye itself. It might also be glaucoma, which is fairly common. Her diet can also affect it e.g. raw fish diet.

Are you using any medication or has there been any event you are aware of that could have led to this? Good luck, I hope her condition improves.

Its always good to have your pet get a yearly check up.
For your peace of mind I would take the cat to the vet for a check up and bring this concern up with your vet. Especially at 11yrs old.
Better safe then Sorry..
Best of Luck, I hope your cat is ok....

Have her checked by the vet. Enlarged pupils can indicate an underlying medical condition.
Better be safe than sorry.

Her pupils aren't dilating. You could take her to the vet, I suppose. Could be indicative of a neurological problem... but I don't see a serious problem here.
