fungal infection on cat's ear?

I suspect my cat has fungal infection on her ear. She's lost some fur due to constant scratching. Can I use Lamisil on her ? Months ago, the vet gave Panolol to clean out the mites in her ears, but the problem still exists. What should I do next?

This to me sounds like a clasic sign of Ring worm. Please take her back to the vet and get her looked at. Or If you have a black light turn off all the lights in a room and turn the black light on and shine it at the fungus infected area and if it glows flo green it is fungus.

Check with the vet again before giving her any meds..
