Why do I have problems with relationships???

I know this sounds like its right out of Scott Baio's mouth, but I'm just curious if any of you have any advice for me. No stupid answers please.

I've been dating a girl now for a few months who is one of the coolest girls I have ever dated. We get along great. I dont like to sound shallow, but I don't really see it going anywhere b/c of her looks. I know it should not matter what people look like, but I find myself not treating her like I would treat some of the previous girls I've dated, romanticly etc.. I feel like I might be giving her the short end of the stick. I wouldn't call myself shallow, but at the same time I find it hard to be sexually attracted to her. I always put personality first. If a woman is gorgeous but is dumb as a box of rocks with no personality, I am immediatly turned off. She is seeming more and more like just a friend every day. She really wants me to be her man, and she's a really good girl. I dont want to hurt her feelings. what should i do???

There has to be some spark..........if there's not, (and you've been physical at all, and I mean even holding hands), you're leading her on............not fair to her, stupid for you.

Be honest, tell her you like her but the lack of sexual spark is killing you. ( I never suggest lying to a woman, on the other hand, showing some tact would be smart, "I can't get turned on because you're ugly" would be BAD!!!!)

Do you know exactly why you don't find her physically attractive?.... (the correct answer is no).

So you can honestly say you don't exactly know why the spark isn't there, but it's not, and you don't want to lead her on, and you DO want her as a friend. (Because that's how you're treating her........as a FRIEND).

If you are not satisfied with a "friendship" and do not want the "romantic" connection, the best thing you can do is be honest with her and let her know how you feel. You can say..."yes, I am a little shallow" because this is the truth, by your own admission. She may hurt...this is part of life and "growing up" but you'll both be much better off with the truth. She'll get over it and you will have had the experience of telling the truth.

Friends are for ever,If she a good girl like you said she, would be content with being friends then being in a relationship with a person that do doesn't look at her they way true love is suppose to that just makes her feel bad about her self .

be honest and tell her instead of dragging on a relationship thats only going to make thing worse for her. She does seem more like a friend and you dont love her..when you love someone you love the in and out.

Give it more time, feelings may develop and you may become more and more attracted to her.
