I would think it would depend on how much your parents make. If they make a ton of money then sure you can ask for that much, if you deserve it. If they don't you better refine your list and just ask for the few things you really must have

First of all, ask your self whether you deserve all this stuff. And even if you did, I think this is too much on your list...This is a list for the 10 years to come :)

Trim the list to the necessary stuff you need to have

Then you should come down to 2-3 things at the most. This way you can save some money to your parents, and actually get the stuff you want and will use, not junk you'll keep in your closet forever.

It's a pretty tall order and yes, it seems a little frivolous but it depends on what you've come to expect from Christmas too.

Does your family traditionally buy you lots and lots of presents or just one or two?

Also, is the total dollar amount within their budget to spend?

A very wealthy family might think it's very reasonable while a family with a moderate income (most of us) may find it difficut to afford.

I think I should point out though, that you're 14 and you should consider the real spirit of the holidays--it's not about what you can get but about what you give and share.

Plus, you're old enough to be able to get a part time job and buy some of these things yourself!

Depends on what your parents can afford. Im sure they would buy you the list an then some if they could. I spent around 350 on my daughter who is not even two yet.

Honestly, that's way too much to expect. Cut down so that your parents won't go broke and just be grateful for what you end up getting. Try not to have so many expensive electronics.

First of all, you should never EXPECT when it comes to receiving gifts. Rather, you should be thankful for the ones you do receive.

Wow, talk about selfish. Do you have a list for what you're getting your parents?

  • 1 decade ago

That means about each thing cost $109.8 About thats my estimate. I wouldn't buy that for u

  • I don't think you can blame her for being selfish! If she were selfish, she'd be saying "What else should i ask for?" not "Is it bad that i'm asking for this much?"
