Anthony Johnson paid off his indenture was given 250 acres and bought white slaves then followed up with a black slave whom he refused to free after he had paid off his indenture to Mr. Johnson was brought back and not allowed his freedom. John Johnson son of Anthony was given 350 acres and purchased 11 white slaves who were both male and females. I have researched several sites on History and the same info comes up so sorry you don't want to believe this it is a true historical fact. Neil you are correct it is well known but also well ignored by many.

owned 4 white indentured servants and one black at one point. He was

also one of the first to own legally recognised slaves.

Where is the white reparations and where is the white history month? Its time for whites to fight for thier rights they were the first slaves.

But the Romans took the anciant Britons as slaves, and there are accounts of N. African Arabs owning English slaves.

Also in the 1600s (white) women from Bristol (UK) were taken to rich people in Dublin (Ireland) to work as slaves.

In America, no. Even though there were Blacks who could get up enough status to own slaves, no matter how rich they were, they were under White people.
