A Different type of a No-Start Question!?

So a customer had their car towed in, 175 bucks We spent 4 hours yesterday diagnosing the problem. Here are the specifics.

1. Fuel delivery OK

2. Timing & ignition OK

3. Hard cranking.

4. Oil on Plugs.

5. New plugs didn't solve issue.

So there is fuel & spark at the right time, starter is fine. air intake is also fine.

We did solve the problem and I didn't charge the customer as we were laughing too much. This is way out there. I will answer it at lunch today. Lets see who can come up with the answer, I will post clues. For all mechanics it is a head shaker.

Update:

PBleek nailed it,

The lady had backed into a parking spot and pushed mud up into the exhaust.like 10" worth so it couldn't breathe, She made it to the store where she said she had trouble idling, then it wouldn't restart. the guy who shuttles cars in this morning said UH hey that Lexus has mud in the tail pipe, as we were all preparing to head out into the shop, we all looked at each other and started laughing, this guy is now getting lunch on me! Things so simple we overlook.

Plugged exhaust. Had a friend who backed into a slope and parked the car, the soil hardened in the exhaust pipe. We checked everything several times. Took us a couple hours, then we noticed a faint hissing sound as the pressure bled off the exhaust. One whack with a screwdriver and the car was off and running.
