    Hi Sweetie,

If u are experiencing anxiety & stress, I surmise r not sleeping well either. And u do need on average 7 r 8 hrs. sleep, & that can cause r symptoms. To have a good nite sleep at the Health Store they sell a mild relaxer in capsules called St. John's Wort. And after a good nite sleep, & u still feel this way Do Not stay indoors, go out for a coffee, call a friend to join u. Jog, wear off some of that stress & anxiety, just run, run, run, think what ails u, take a lil radio with ear plugs. Write r thoughts, dreams, expectations, goals. What wud be good 4 u know, what r who is triggering r mood swings? If u can't get anywhere on r own, while r at the Heath Store, ask them to reccommend a mood stabalizer. They're so friendly in those stores & very well trained I frequent them for things too. Where r u from Country I mean, as far as weather goes? I'm in the Cold Country of Canada, near Toronto, if u wanna talk stress, we just had our 1st snowfall & it's bitterly cold with a substancial high wind gust!

I'd rather be in any part of the world then here! lol

Keep r Chin Up, perhaps it's just a phase r going through just now, is it? Been there, done that, with depression to boot. I know what r going threw.

E-Back if u like, no worries?

    LOL, Diana D

Valerian, St. John's Wort and the rescue remedie (Bach Flowers) are the best natural remedies for anxiety and stress.

You can try with acupunture too and chinese herbs and pills,it works very well.

    Good luck!!!

I really like 5-HTP. It's a pill derived from herbs that help increase the level of seratonin in your brain, therefore increasing your mood and decreasing your level of anxiety. It's very easy to obtain and is sold OTC at most pharmacies.

    Source(s): I take it.

I tried all of them in refusal to start anti anxiety meds that make you worse off then you were when you started....the best thing that works for me is valerian root...i take it in a tea...i bought the pills but they were too big....i get tenren relax tea from the asian grocery store by me...i drink it every morning and whenever i feel crazy (so to say)...works like a charm with my panic attacks...good luck :)

    heres a link

also...do yourself a favor and give up caffeine...it sucks but it really helps!!!!

Sleep, comfort food, and a vacation if you can afford it! Stop looking to silly herbs for this. Just take some time to yourself and do what you want to do!

Feverfew, Valerian and Kava (also known as Kava-Kava). Those do the trick for me. ;)
