its the diffuser of the electrical circuit in the middle of the tube CRT. the two D-SUB connections are most likely fixable but the Multi-Frequency switch and fuse seem to be burned out. I would get a new one because it will be to expensive to fix.

This is a simple physical cable problem not a software one - your green pin is loose on your monitor cable. Check the cable, give it a wiggle and it will return to normal. It's not likely to be your graphics card, and it's not likely to be your monitor unless it an old style cathode ray tube (ie not a flatscreen LCD).

If it is a CRT and it isn't the cable, give it a thump on the top of the monitor. It will happen more and more until you eventually need to get a new monitor (like coldwark said)

If it's a flat screen, it's definitely the cable and punching it won't help. Check the pins aren't bent, and if it has screws on the plug make sure they are screwed in properly.

If this doesn't help then the wire could be cracked inside, you might be able to just replace the cable if it plugs in at both ends, or you can take it to a TV repair shop where they can replace the cable.

Source(s): Mine does it too ;-)

Check your monitor cable first, if that's fine then your graphics card.

Those two are usually the culprits

    Good luck

Could be a loose connection. Check that the cable which links the computer to the monitor is securely fitted at both ends, and not caught or kinked.

it has something to do with magnets. try putting a magnet ther when it turns blue and use the magnet to drag the colour to the side of the screen. this works on all types of monitors and televisions.
