This question stems purely from curiousity. I am an athiest and moderate in my political belifs and I am wondering if there is any sort of pattern.

Are there more liberal athiests or is it pretty much 50/50?

    Moderate atheist, here...

You know... the longer I'm alive, the more I become aware that very few things are liberal or conservative, black or white... I vote for experience and common sense, regardless of "party."

If it were a viable party, I'd ALMOST be a libertatian.

I've actually come across a LOT of Libertarian atheists, to tell you the truth. It kind of makes sense, though, due to the Libertarian ideals.

I'd say, more or less, we're more on the liberal side. However, I can see some potential for there to be a lot of moderates.

I'm a registered Independent and have for most of the time I've voted been a swing voter. However, lately I'm leaning more towards the liberal side of things.

Registered self reliant, yet significantly left wing. all of them suck. different than Kucinich. i'd vote for Edwards interior the popular. Dodd seems ok from time to time. there is not any longer one Republican Candidate who would be stable for united statesa.. Huckabee has his moments of sanity, yet he's to tied to the religious stunning. Paul is a sturdy protest candidate, yet i do unlike a lot of his concepts. Romney, McCain, and Rudy - scar-ry. they say they are economic conservatives yet they opt to spend money construction border fences, tripling Guantanmo, and perpetuating an undesirable, American-killing, money draining conflict? Frauds.

I'm gonna go with mostly liberal.

I think it's because of the difference in thinking between religious types and atheistic types.

I'm fairly liberal and an atheist.

I'm a FLAMING liberal, very far to left. I guess I'm what the conservatives call an "evil liberal."
