I've been at the same job for 20, years now, and through those years I've seen people's lives change for the better as they developed a hunger to know the GOD I serve. I can honestly say, there's nothing more exciting or beautiful than seeing the Spirit of GOD change a person from the inside out! Words cannot justify the beauty of this transformation taking place in a person.

I know someone who works at making little pouches for the local shelter so they can have something to give the children on Christmas day... she takes old pants that are worn out, and uses the legs and the pockets to create them. She also takes time to get teddy bears from the thrift store and wash them and make little neck ties that read I need a hug, and give them to the local Highway Patrol for the kids needing something in the wake of an accident or violence....

This morning I saw my eldest son (4 yo) come into the baby's room. Baby was in the cot crying (I needed to get daughter ready for school and change toddler's nappy, without baby holding on to my legs... + he was tired). My eldest boy came up to him, saw he was crying, and promptly climbed in the cot with him and laid down beside him, smiling at him and talking to him, to make him happy.
I had an outpouring of love from people at church, yesterday. It is such a joy to me to be in fellowship with the Saints. I wish I could share that love in any way I can, to help those hearts who are so heavy with sorrow and despair. I know what that feels like. People need a steady and unconditional love. When I have love, it is the most joyful thing in life to give it to someone else. We all need each other.
We all have ups and downs. I can't help but share how I feel, be that angry or loving, frustrated or at peace. When I have love and peace, I feel so very grateful to be able to be of use to someone else, and share the joy. Humility means I do not deride myself when I am less than useful, but continue to love myself, just as I would love someone else unconditionally.

Mostly everyone is rude and hateful. Especially while driving. Especially those goofs with the fish on their cars. Does that fish stand for I'm rude and can't drive?
