Should I wrap this gift or put it together around the christmas tree?

I would put it together aronud the tree, but wait until Christmas eve - what a cool surprise on Christmas morning!

Well, we get our tree the second week of December for my mom;s b-day. We use Advent wreaths and calender's. Mom dad and I always watch the 25 days of christmas every night. We watch charlie brown. Once we set up the Nativity scene, I move the wise men closer every day. I look for the Pickle in the tree a get a gift on christmas eve. I get new PJ's and slippers for christmas eve, and I read the night before christmas, of my grandfather does over the phone and I fallow along in my copy of the book. Leave cookies and milk for Santa. On Christmas morning, I have to wait until my mom rings the Santa bell till i can come down. I LOVE Christmas!

Set it up around the tree after he's gone to bed on Christmas eve, it'll look like a Christmas movie, cause the kid always seems to get a train for christmas.

i like the idea you have about having it go around the tree. i would wait until he goes to sleep on Christmas eve, assemble it and have it running when he wakes up in the morning. he will be so surprised and delighted.... i would put some small gifts on the train that are for him. [i would look at a local dollar stores for some cute things to put in the train...

I would put it around the tree on Chtistmas Eve after he has gone to bed. That way it will be the first thing he sees when he gets up on Chritmas morning. It also won't ruin the suprise of it being a Christmas present.

part of the fun of being Santa is not wrapping some of the kiddies gifts, set it up on Christmas Eve after the little cutie goes to bed. He will be so surprised especially if you can beat him up, turn it on and get back to bed before Thomas tooting wakes him up then act like he has woke you up when he yells or goes running into your room.

Put it around the tree on Christmas Eve night. He'll be twice as surprised!

Even if he has a lot to unwrap... He can have the joy of helping you put the train together. So I think you should wrap it for him.

I think just setting it up would be better, but how about waiting until Christmas Eve night when he's gone to bed?

i would wait till christmas eve when he goes to bed and put it together and let it run until he wakes up and sees it i think he would be so surprised and he would like it n he wouldn't have to open it and he wouldn't get it until christmas day...
