I just bought this Toshiba laptop, three months old and?

My left speaker is making a high pitched whining sound and now my speakers don't work. I checked it out with windows audio and it confirmed that the left speaker is not working and the right one is. Now, I've heard that it could be the software or a wire connection or maybe even a fan bearing going out. Is there an solution to this problem to get my speakers working again? Please help, if you can.

DO NOT just take it to a shop to have it fixed - If they open the laptop it will void the warranty and you will be screwed if you then try to send it back to Toshiba. Contact Toshiba first and send it back to them. They will fix it for free....

sounds like the wire has came loose inside the laptop case,

there is no easy solution except if its only 3 months old it is still under warranty forget yahoo answeres and contact Toshiba and or the store you purchased it from. do not attempt any self fixes this can void your warranty. Good Luck,
