margarita recipe??

the margarita in it's classic sense is a sour drink, made only of fresh squeezed lime, triple sec (equal portions of these first two) and tequila (to your liking). You can rim the glass with salt or not, serve on the rocks or with crushed ice. You can play around using different juices but the above is the classic margarita. You can also add a bit of sugar to sweeten the drink, but, again not classically done. You could skip the whole ordeal and buy pre made mix, it's a different taste altogether (sweeter mainly) if you go that route id stick to cuervo's version.

The perfect Margarita:

1 1/2 measure tequila + 1/2 measure Cointreau + 1 measure lime juice(you can use different juices, peach is a very nice one)

There are some premix available. If you want to do it yourself and keep it simple try this. Regular margarita use frozen limeade (from the supermarket next to the frozen lemonade), ice and tequila. Use a blender. For strawberry margaritas add frozen strawberries **in the tub** not the bag ones because bag ones don't have added sugar. Use a blender again and go light on the limeade so not to over power the strawberries. Good Luck and Enjoy

Ingredients: Tequila, Triple Sec, Lime

Cocktail glass with salt-rim, in shaker: 4cl tequila, 2cl Triple Sec, 2cl lime juice, Ice.

My favorite recipe is:

3 part tequila

2 part fresh-sqeezed lime juice (Don't even bother making this without fresh)

2 part apple juice

1 part triple sec

If there are light-weights, doing a 2-2-2-1 ratio works, too.

1 1/2 oz tequila

1/2 oz premium triple sec (preferably Cointreau)

1 oz lime juice (sour mix ,whatever)
