Hair horror stories.Best story 10 pts.?

I once decided to dye my hair from blonde (my natural color) to red. I was just looking for a drastic change. I do that sometimes. I went to the store and bought a dark red. It turned out aweful. I looked like a shiny copper penny. To make it worse I went to work (in the mall) looking like that. The next evening I decided I had to do something so I dyed it blonde to tone down the red. It turned my hair orange. I worked at the Disney store and they held a stuffed Tigger up to me and laughed because we matched perfectly. After that I decided to go to a proffessional. I went to the salon the next evening and the woman stripped my hair. She bleached it and used a color remover. Basically she ruined my hair. My hair was so white she flat told me she couldn't put a color on my hair because it would make my hair fall out. My scalp felt like it was on fire and my hair literally was glow in the dark. It was the scariest thing that ever happened to me.

Anyone have a story worse than this?

I went to get my hair dyed for the first time and i was super excited! When i got out of the salon (WONDERFULLY HIGHLIGHTED!) my forehead started to itch and get red. after about 24 hours my face and neck was so swolen I had to go to the hospital. It turned out that i was allergic to the dye. I had to get all my hair shaved off because the hair irritated my skin so bad! It sucked!

No, but my hair used to turn slightly orange when I dyed my hair. It turns yellow from my salon, so I'm thinking about going brunette, lol, blonde is annoying me. I can never get the color right! I just really want to say that I feel your pain of bad hair days..for a long time.

I'm not sure that's my stories worse than yours. When I was a little younger my nanna bought me that sun-in for hair. I used it and I looked like a pumpkin. Then we went through weeks of dyeing my hair from platinum blond to ash blond. It eventually went back to it's natural color. Then I was using Clearasil ultra and the peroxide dyed my hair blond, so I had to dye it golden brown which looked red, so I dyed it dark brown. I know how you feel and wish you luck=)

i decided i wanted dark brown color with blonde highlights and a few bright red ones. well the bottom half of my hair was almost black, and then i had red and platinum highlights all over, but alot more than i had wanted. so i asked her to fix it immediately. she decided she would dye some of the red blonde...needless to say it turned pink. i looked like a combination of kelly osbourne, a cupcake, and a candy cane. it was awful. i couldnt get an appointment anywhere before i left to go to college so i had to go to a walmart salon, which i wasnt too happy about. the lady had to put pigment back into my hair(basically the opposite of stripping it, but idk the term) because it was literally white. then had to dye it and highlight it to make it look normal. thank god it came out looking good and i was able to show my face in public again. i will NEVER go back to the salon that ruined my hair again!

I went to the salon to get my hair dyed. I wanted to go from blonde to a dark brown. She put the dye on my hair and I waited until it was ready. When she rinsed it out, it was bright pink, like neon pink. She grabbed the pink hair dye instead of the dark brown. I was so mad. To make matters worse, she told me that she had no other color except for was a reddish orange ( she never even had the dark brown). So when she rinsed that color out, my hair was pink with orange spots on it. She stripped my hair and it was white. I couldn't dye my hair again for over a month. I was so embarrased to walk out of the salon with my hair like that, except that I had to deal with it for a month. I went to another salon and got it dyed brown just like I wanted. It was the worst thing that ever happened to me!

I wouldn't say mine are any worse but they are definitely similar! I guess you have to learn the hard way sometimes.

I know a girl who stripped her hair so much that it did fall out! She went from long hair to short in a matter of minutes! Without scissors!

I don't know if this is worse, but it is funny! Back in the day I use to like to have my mom crimp my hair. My hair is a dirty blond, light brown color. I was at my friends house, with my hair crimped, and her dang horse thought my hair was hay and started eating it!! He didn't do any damage, but I was not amused!

I guess I was about 13 years old, when a friend and I made a bet about something I forget now,but anyway i shaved my whole head because I had lost the bet,and she won and you wanna talk about strange looking.I was knowed as the lucky eight ball girl.People would just come up to me and rub my head or just kiss it and then laugh.Funny now but it wasn't then.
