I have tried everything! Lately I have bought the permanent dye and did it myself but in the past I have went to different beauticians. None of the beauticians have ever been able to get a color to stay in my hair. I am a natural blonde so I thought it would be easier to dye my hair but I have been wrong. It always washes out within 1-2 weeks. I have done all different colors. The only thing that I have done to really see results is when I had my hair heavily highlighted. If I use a bleach it works but if I use any sort of color it just rinses out, What is going on? Is there anything I can get that will last?

Last Summer we moved to a new house. When I plugged in my computer something happened. I think the house has electrical problems. My computer got an electrical surge and it quit working. I know I was stupid for not using a surge protector. My monitor was fine but my computer wouldn't work. When I hooked the monitor up to the tower my moniter would quit working. When it was plugged in by itself it worked. So I was wondering what are my chances of retrieving any info from the computer? The only thing I really want off it is my pictures that I took. Anyone had any luck with this type of thing.

BTW I am planning on taking it to a local computer shop not doing it myself. I was just kind of curious what my chances are before I go.

First of all I am NOT a cat person and I don't claim to be. The cat was my husbands cat when we got married. (My husband and I have been married for almost 10 yrs). This cat has always been pure EVIL. No I am not exaggerating. Any time you would walk by he would scratch your ankles, he hisses at everyone, and you really couldn't do anything around him without getting attacked.

He is 11 + years old now.

Now all of a sudden he is really nice to me and only me. He jumps up on my lap and purrs, wants me to pet him all the time, and sleeping in the bed with me. Basically he is acting like a normal cat to me. He is still evil to everyone else.

What is going on? Do cats do this when they get older? And why does he only like me? I don't even feed him, the kids do.

How can I get him to be nice to everyone in our family?

I once decided to dye my hair from blonde (my natural color) to red. I was just looking for a drastic change. I do that sometimes. I went to the store and bought a dark red. It turned out aweful. I looked like a shiny copper penny. To make it worse I went to work (in the mall) looking like that. The next evening I decided I had to do something so I dyed it blonde to tone down the red. It turned my hair orange. I worked at the Disney store and they held a stuffed Tigger up to me and laughed because we matched perfectly. After that I decided to go to a proffessional. I went to the salon the next evening and the woman stripped my hair. She bleached it and used a color remover. Basically she ruined my hair. My hair was so white she flat told me she couldn't put a color on my hair because it would make my hair fall out. My scalp felt like it was on fire and my hair literally was glow in the dark. It was the scariest thing that ever happened to me.

Anyone have a story worse than this?

A friend of mine was given a pair of boots as a gift from a friend. The brand is Passport. She absolutely loves these boots. The only problem is she can't find more of them. She has asked her friend where she bought them but she won't give her a straight answer, I think she got them off ebay. I checked on ebay and they have a couple pair on there but nothing in her size. She really wants another pair and I would love to get them for her for Christmas.So does anyone know of any retailer that carries this brand???? It can be an online retailer or a store.

I have recently been having migraines. I made an appointment with a dr. but I am not sure what to expect. Migraines run in my family. What are they caused from? What should I expect the dr. to do about them? They aren't constant just about once a month or so. I've been having them for about 5 months now. Anyone have any experience with migraines and any advice for me?

My son is asking for an Ipod for Christmas but a friend of mine said to get him an Ipod Nano. Whats the difference? Isn't one just smaller?
